First Grade Teacher Laurel Springs School Savannah, GA, United States
At Laurel Springs School, our elementary students work through an asynchronous curriculum for all subjects. During this session, we will share how we are creating community with our students through the use of a Zoom Morning Meeting. During this Morning Meeting, students have the opportunity to join a virtual classroom environment where there are opportunities to interact socially while also practicing academic concepts. Teachers create and share expectations with students so that learning can happen! Teachers also build relationships with students to encourage and support student growth both socially and academically. This session will provide practical tools and resources so that you can plan your own Morning Meeting for your students!
