Schools have bought and continue to buy a lot of edtech. But how do we ensure it doesn't end up wasting budget or causing more problems than it solves? Can educators and students move beyond uninspired edtech use and find new ways to deeply enrich the learning experience in and out of the classroom?
This session will offer a proven framework — the SAMR Model — to help edtech adopters achieve this goal. Participants will obtain a new SAMR checklist designed to help instructional coaches optimize use of devices and tools, as well as insights and concrete examples of implementation from a successful district. With educators eager to fulfill the promise of edtech, this session offers the knowledge needed to inspire transformational learning.
