Abstract Description : Gifted and Talented students who chose digital learning are highly susceptible to procrastination, burnout, stress, and an unwillingness to ask for help. While digital learning environments are ideal for implementing many GT best practices (competency based grading, Grading for Equity, flexibility, student choice & differentiation), many GT students still struggle with developing healthy work habits, and maintaining motivation. This leads to many questions: do we really know how to best support our GT students? How can we create community among our GT students -including asynchronously? How can we use social supports to motivate and not punish? How can we best support our brightest students through a system not designed for them?
