Abstract Description : Like all districts, THRIVE Learning Collaborative in Oklahoma comes with students who need to have flexibility in their learning experiences due to the “at-risk” indicators that they hold. THRIVE FLEX is a program that was created just for those students. Alternative education in a virtual setting can be done and we are excited to share the success stories, struggles and the tools our team has implemented as we have created and navigated FLEX for our growing population of students that have all odds stacked against them.

Learning Objectives:
Attendees will take away the knowledge of how to identify and define an “at-risk” student, how and when to collaborate with other team members for the benefit of student success, and demonstrate ways to make enrollment adjustments that can be made to individualize their learning experience.
Attendees will take away a list of the ever so critical supports to put in place, how to demonstrate them within their programs, and how to collect and analyze data to determine the the growth of the student and program.
Attendees will be able to utilize supports and strategies provided to drive student success.
