This session explores the Bible's influence on western civilization and American public life and asks if this justifies including a non-devotional and viewpoint-neutral perspective of its content in today’s public-school classrooms. To accomplish this goal, the session includes an overview of the Bible's literary and artistic legacy, civic impact, and constitutional imprint, and then explores both support for and objections to its inclusion.
If someone was doing a search for your session in the program what 5 words might they use to search for and find your session.: Teaching Bible in Public Schools?
