Abstract Description : Educators love data as it defines the profession. However, what are the actionable insights gleaned from the copious amounts of data collected each academic year? This soul-searching question has taken ACCESS Virtual Learning on a journey we never imagined. In year two of the ACCESS data journey, we are engaging in weekly data discussions on multiple data fronts, providing the roadmap to refining practices, allocating resources, and defining tiered supports that are positively impacting student and educator success. And the best data of all is the evidence of the positive impact on student achievement. The ACCESS Virtual Learning data journey and roadmap is one we want to share as a best practice tool to facilitate student success for all.

Learning Objectives:

  • At the end of this session, participants will be able to identify quantitative and qualitative data they can use in their organization to drive supports for the schools and adults who support student success.
  • At the end of this session, participants will be able to develop a tired support structure and identify the supports necessary to facilitate student success in the virtual learning environment.
  • At the end of this session, participants will have a roadmap to student success that involves data driven outcomes in the virtual learning environment.
