Abstract Description : Title II of the ADA now mandates specific accessibility guidelines for digital content in public schools and universities. How can educators and administrators be sure learning content is accessible according to the technical standard referenced by the ADA? This session offers an overview of that standard: WCAG 2.1 AA, and provides a strategy to train a whole organization. We’ll discuss the importance of role-based training for all staff in an institution: from custodians to principals. You will leave this session with a list of topics organized by the various roles in an institution. Regardless of your role or sphere of influence, you will gain an understanding of how to prepare for the approaching compliance deadline.
