Virtual educators have it the roughest in the age of AI. The paradigm shift that is occurring is throwing faculty for a loop. They are being asked to "let go" of the "old way" of doing things and embrace the "new way." This can lead to emotional responses that cloud our judgment and impede progress.
This session will introduce administrators to an approach that will help faculty move through the emotional aspects of adapting to change. Using The Five Stages of Grief, we can help teachers feel seen and provide space for acceptance of some of our new realities. This session will also help administrators consider what types of strategies will move the needle from Denial all the way to Acceptance - thus assisting in the process of adaptation.
If someone was doing a search for your session in the program what 5 words might they use to search for and find your session.: AI
