Abstract Description :

Online learning environments present unique challenges in achieving student engagement and success. When incorporating platforms outside the standard LMS that are state-mandated and more rigorous, the stakes are even higher. This table talk will explore strategies for engaging students in both traditional online settings and high-stakes external programs. We'll discuss innovative, out-of-the-box classroom practices that help students thrive in stringent, script-like curricula with limited flexibility. Together, we'll collaborate on progressive solutions to enhance classroom performance and student engagement across various platforms.

Learning Objectives:

  • Develop an innovative strategy that will help to enhance student engagement and success in high-stakes external programs, and implement these strategies into the school's educational practices.
  • Collaborate to create a list of progress solutions for improving classroom performance and student engagement in rigid, script like curricula with limited flexibility, and measure their impact on student outcomes.
  • Participants will identify and apply strategies to boost student engagement and success in both traditional online and high-stakes programs.
