Abstract Description : This professional development session is designed to equip teachers with the tools and strategies necessary to integrate Social and Emotional Learning into both in-person and virtual classrooms. Through interactive workshops, educators will explore the core competencies of SEL, self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision-making—while focusing on their unique application in hybrid environments. Participants will engage in discussions, analyze real-world scenarios, and develop practical SEL interventions that foster emotional intelligence, student engagement, and a supportive classroom community.

Learning Objectives:
At the end of this session, participants will be able to effectively incorporate five SEL competencies self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision-making into in-person and virtual classrooms to enhance student emotional intelligence and wellness.
At the end of this session, participants will be able to design and implement actionable SEL strategies tailored to the challenges of hybrid learning, fostering inclusive, supportive environments that promote student engagement and social-emotional growth across both physical and digital platforms.
