Abstract Description : This professional development session is designed to equip teachers with the tools and strategies necessary to integrate Social and Emotional Learning into both in-person and virtual classrooms. Through interactive workshops, educators will explore the core competencies of SEL, self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision-making—while focusing on their unique application in hybrid environments. Participants will engage in discussions, analyze real-world scenarios, and develop practical SEL interventions that foster emotional intelligence, student engagement, and a supportive classroom community.

Learning Objectives:
At the end of this session, participants will be able to effectively incorporate five SEL competencies self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision-making into in-person and virtual classrooms to enhance student emotional intelligence and wellness.
