Abstract Description : In the Digital Learning Collaborative’s (DLC) 2024 Snapshot, we issued a Call to Action to address the ongoing challenge of tracking online student participation nationwide. Join us to brainstorm ideas and share your experiences. We’ll explore how participation is tracked in your district or program, discuss challenges in data collection, and identify innovative solutions to better understand the online education landscape. Together, we can find ways to ensure that every student has the opportunity to thrive, regardless of location or traditional school affiliation.
Learning Objectives:
Participants will identify current methods and challenges in tracking online student participation within their own educational settings.
Participants will explore and propose innovative solutions to improve data collection and understanding of online student engagement.
