If you selected Cutting-Edge, what innovative ideas, approaches, or methodologies will your session introduce or explore?: Covid brought on a tremendous change in the world, and we have yet to see the impact of all these effects. One such effect is early learners not ready for traditional school environments. Online learning has long been considered a solution for high school but littles can benefit from online learning environments too.

Abstract Description :

In recent years, there has been a growing trend toward online learning for early learners. While online learning offers several potential benefits, such as flexibility, accessibility, and personalized instruction, it also presents unique challenges for young children. This session will explore strategies and best practices for supporting early learners in online school.

Learning Objectives:

  • Participants will be able to identify the unique challenges and opportunities of online learning for early learners. Participants will be able to develop strategies for creating engaging and effective online learning environments for early learners.
  • Participants will be able to develop strategies for supporting parents and families of early learners in online school. Participants will be able to advocate for appropriate policies and practices to support early learners in online school.
