Engaging learners in an online setting can be a difficult task and engaging learners across various levels can make that task even harder. SC Whitmore is an online school with a "school your way" philosophy that meets students where they are and provides rigorous learning experiences across the curriculum. This session will share the strategies and technology tools (including AI) that we use with our students to provide an engaging online experience. Participants in this session will leave with strategies and a list of tools and programs we use to meet our students and add rigor. Examples shared during the session will include those used in traditional academic classes as well as those used in our CTE completer programs.
Learning Objectives:
At the end of this session, participants will be able to identify instructional practices and tools used at an online school to engage students of all levels. This ranges from the lowest levels of learners through our gifted population.
At the end of this session, participants will be able to utilize tools and strategies presented for implementation with their own population of students.
