Ken Dirkin is the founding director of the AI Lab at Michigan Virtual. Under his leadership, the lab explores ethical, practical, and policy-oriented applications of artificial intelligence in education. This initiative is part of the Michigan Virtual Learning Research Institute (MVLRI), where Ken also serves as the Sr. Director, which explores integrating educational technology through various lenses, including student and teacher use, legal and ethical considerations, and operational applications.
