Ray Cannon, a Digital Learning Specialist with Bloomington Public Schools, spent 24 years teaching elementary music, enriching students’ learning with popular and digital music to connect modern music with classics from centuries ago. With a Master’s in Technology Integration, Ray now supports the New Code Academy (K-8) and Adult Education programs, helping students excel in digital environments. A former Marine, Ray earned a Meritorious Mast for computerizing the Marine Band library in Okinawa, Japan, using an Apple IIc in 1985.
