Bruce Friend currently serves as the Head of School for Pine Springs Preparatory Academy, a school he founded in 2017. He has routinely been asked to advise educational leaders, elected officials, and families on issues related to innovative school models and digital learning. He has aproven experience in helping schools across North America grow highly successful traditional, online, and blended learning programs. He currently serves as chair of the NC Charter School Review Board.
