Kelly Watson

I am Kelly Watson, an English teacher for GOAL Digital Academy. I have a BA in English with licensure in Integrated Language Arts and am finishing my M.Ed. in Educational Leadership. I have extensively studied the Science of Reading, took an active role in our district's Literacy Grant Team and MD team, presented previously at DLAC on topics of AI and co-teaching, and co-presented at Ohio's 2024 Literacy Academy on Motivating Adolescent Readers/ Writers. My current focus is implementing SoR practices, developing a tier 2 system for students below grade level, and instructional coaching.
