Dr. Samantha Viano is an Associate Professor of Education in the Educational Leadership & Policy Division of the College of Education and Human Development at George Mason University. Dr. Viano studies the role of online learning in assisting struggling students graduate high school through online credit recovery. Her research on online learning has been supported by the National Academy of Education/Spencer Foundation Dissertation Fellowship and the National Science Foundation’s CAREER Award.
