Dr. DeLaina Tonks is the Executive Director at Mountain Heights Academy. She is a 2020 “Best of State – Administrator” and one of Utah Business’s “30 Women to Watch”. Dr. Tonks is a frequent local, national, and global presenter on OER and best practices in digital teaching and learning. She holds a PhD in Instructional Psychology and Technology from Brigham Young University, her initial alma mater, where she also earned a Bachelor of Arts in French and Spanish Teaching. Dr. Tonks also holds a Master of Arts in Linguistics/Second Language Acquisition from The Ohio State University.
