Dr. April Fleetwood, Director of Research, Evaluation, and Planning at Florida Virtual School (FLVS) and FlexPoint Education Cloud, oversees university and internal research and evaluation projects that focus on K-12 best practices and student achievement in online learning. These projects contribute to other organization-wide initiatives, such as strategic planning and accreditation. She began her career teaching high school English, and her excitement for digital teaching and learning, literacy, and educational research led her to join the FLVS team in 2017.
