As the Director of the Clackamas Web Academy, I have recognized the significance of honoring the community’s shared experiences and actively involving all members in our ongoing (re)design efforts. Through these collaborative approaches, we have raised our four-year graduation rate from 20% to 87.8% and expanded learning opportunities by introducing Kindergarten and an Early College Options program. It is my belief that a collective leadership model that embraces the power of the entire school community cultivates trust and produces the highest academic gains for all students.
