Michele Nickels is the current Director of Wisconsin Virtual School (WVS), a state-led supplemental online program for grades K-12 operated out of CESA 9 since 2000. WVS currently partners with over half of Wisconsin’s school districts in Wisconsin. Michele has been in the education field for 24+ years, formerly a Distance Learning Network Director and online and distance education teacher.
