Steve St. Amand has been a high school English teacher since 2007, when I left journalism and newspapers to embark on my second career. I spent four years a tradition high school before joining Clackamas Web Academy, a hybrid online/in-person K-12 in the Portland, Ore. metropolitan area. He is also an adjunct professor at Warner Pacific College, specializing in college writing, as well as content-area literacy for teachers.
