Dr. Anne Butler serves as Chief Academic Officer for Agora Cyber Charter School in Pennsylvania. Growing up as a "library kid" in a rural part of the state, she witnessed the transformative power of literacy to take her places far beyond her imagination; now she works to make sure other kids are able to have the same experiences. After teachng in brick and mortar classrooms for more than 17 years, Anne transitioned to higher education and worked with preservice teachers while completing her doctorate. Her reseaerch journey brought her to Agora, and she's proud to serve its 4500 students.
