Amber Weintraub is a proud Appalachian and former gifted student with a BA in History from the University of North Carolina at Asheville who has spent the past 4 years adapting and teaching social studies courses across middle and high school at Denver Online in Denver, Colorado. Passionate about authentic learning experiences that empower students to grow into ethical and engaged global citizens, Amber currently teaches Intro. to Ethnic Studies and a genocide studies course. Amber has recently found additional fulfillment engaging directly with GT students in an advisement model.
