Dr. Brandie Benton leads Virtual Arkansas’s curriculum, instruction, and assessment initiatives. Her 25 year career in education includes working as a classroom teacher, a college professor, and higher education leader in teacher preparation at both the state and national levels. In 2021, she joined the Virtual Arkansas leadership team, where she currently serves as Deputy Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction. Additionally, she is a proponent of digital learning and has served in a number of support and advisory roles for advancing technology literacy in Arkansas.
