Abstract Description :

Engagement remains one of the most significant challenges for virtual schools. To address this, Indiana Connections Academy High School introduced a new Engagement Policy for the 2023-2024 school year. This initiative led to notable successes, highlighted areas for improvement, and fostered strong collaboration within our high school team, ultimately driving student progress and achievement. Join our session to explore the details of our Engagement Policy, from its initial development and implementation to the successes and challenges we encountered along the way.

Learning Objectives:

  • At the end of this session, participants will be equipped with an Engagement blueprint that they can analyze and apply to their own virtual school environment.
  • At the end of this session, participants will be able to demonstrate an understanding of the challenges and successes associated with INCA’s Engagement policy.
