Abstract Description :

Teaching reading is difficult, but teaching reading to students solely online? Now that’s a flex. The fact is that students at every grade level are struggling, and they need our help! As teachers, interventionists, and reading specialists, we have guidance from the Science of Reading to inform us of best practices to include in our classrooms, but little guidance on how to actually implement these practices in our own virtual world to empower our students to learn and grow. In this session, we will learn how we can align different tools and resources to break through the challenges of teaching virtually and provide our students with the quality, explicit instruction they will need to excel.
